Soon we will be wrapping up the recording of our next release. I’ve been losing sleep over the proper arrangement for the studio version of “Pale Blue” since it is one of the few songs on the release that has been performed live (in a number of iterations) and demoed earlier in the summer. The Pale Blue/Moon Edit was created while I was toying with one of the arrangements, giving it somewhat of an Alva Noto-esque feel. Of course, it likely won’t share anything in common with the final version, but it provided a nice detour for me as I wrack my brain to come up with something more suitable.
